We went to see Takigi-noh theater（Noh performance outside by a fire at night) devoted to the deity god in Hatomori-jinja shrine on the weekend. Hatomori-jinja shrine is very close to Sendagaya station.
Noh theater was so beautiful and gorgeous. We saw the performance hearing the sound of woods slightly cracked by fire and seeing burned wood particles floating in the air.
Nevertheless, we got sleepy during it. Actually, it was the third Noh performance for me that I have seen so far. But every time I saw Noh theater, I felt very sleepy and could not help having a nap. My friends totally agreed with me and we talked about why Noh performance made us drowsy. We assumed that traditional singing and its tone might bring us sleepy.
After the performance, we had some drinks at a pub feeling very drowsy. Even when I arrived home, I was still drowsy.
